The functionality SewArt has to offer comes in handy if you’re passionate about embroidery, sewing and stitching. You see, this S & S Computing product is an embroidery digitizer. Get it up and running on your Windows-powered PC and it will help you turn images into embroidery files. Get it up and running on your Windows-powered PC and you can use it to create images for embroidery stitch-out.

Speaking about that, it must be mentioned that it will take little time and effort to get SewArt up and running on a Windows PC. As a matter of fact, you must go through a standard installation procedure. I remind you that standard installations go something like this: download an installer, run it, follow the instructions presented by a setup wizard.

SewArt is not free, it is only free to try. You can use this embroidery digitizer for evaluation purposes for a trial period of 30 days. When you’ll be done with the installation and you launch SewArt for the first time, you will be presented with a dialog that invites you to register your SewArt copy.

It’s not that hard to use SewArt to turn images into embroidery files. But chances are that you will need a helping hand to get started. I bring this up only to mention that you can access a Getting Started tutorial from the Help menu. This tutorial presents the steps you must go through to digitize images.

SewArt can digitize raster as well as vector format images. This means it provides support for BMP, PNG, JPG, GIF, SVG, WMF, and EMF files for the input. If you want to use an image format that is not supported, you can just paste the image into the SewArt workspace. No matter what image you load into SewArt, the application will convert it to a high-quality embroidery file for sewing (multiple embroidery file formats are supported for the output). Before converting it, SewArt can edit the image: rotate it, crop it, posterize it, and more.

SewArt is a very handy tool that will help you turn images into high-quality embroidery files for sewing.
